Little Mermaid Costume Information

Located below you will find specific information on costume pieces each actor will need to provide.

Many of these items can be found at Dance Fashions, Shapes in Dunwoody (tell Mrs. Randi Ms. Kendrick sent you for your show and receive a discount!), or online at Zappos and other major retailers.

 MIDDLE SCHOOL COSTUME INFORMATION:

King Triton

·        Please bring in a pair of brown, beige or tan Roman or Greek Looking sandals- no flip flops or crocs. Must have a buckle and be secure on foot.  Teva or Chaoco type shoes are perfect.

 

Ariel

·        Nude tights

·        Tan Ballet Shoes  ( Discount Dance, Shapes, Dance Fashions, etc…)

·        Tan Character Shoes (any height, t-strap or regular strap)

 

Prince Eric

·        Navy Blue Dress Pants

·        Black Boots

 

Grimsby

·        White Knee Socks

·        Black or Grey Dress pants

·        Black Dress Shoes

 

 

Sebastian

·        Red Tights or Red Knee Socks

·        First preference is Red High or Low  Top Converse, second choice is tan jazz shoes (which will be decorated).

 

Flounder

·        Royal Blue Converse or converse knock off- high top or low top.

Flotsam/Jetsam

·        Silver converse or silver converse type shoe- can be sequined or glittered or plain.

 

Ursula

·        Black Character Shoes any height/any style

·        Black tights

 

Mersisters

·        Nude Tights

·        Nude stapless bras

·        Nude ballet slippers (flesh colored)

 

Scuttle

·        Orange or grey/yellow Doc Martens type boots,  if you can find some that are not so expensive if not then…..Go with  orange converse high top
 

 

Gulls 1 and 2/Chefs 1 and 2

·         Grey converse

·        Black Jazz  Shoes

 

Chefs/Sailors/Chef Louis

·        Black Jazz Shoes

·        White Knee socks (up to the knee)

 

Pilot

·        White kneed socks and black jazz shoes or black knee high boots.

 

Carlotta

·        Nude Tights

·        Nude/Tan or Black Character Shoes (any height or style)

 

Princesses:

·        Tan Character Shoes any style, any height

 

Seahorse:

Yellow/Gold/Pink/Orange  (any of those colors ) leggings or tights

Any of those colors above converse shoe type sneaker

 

Sea Chorus

·        Any combo or single shade ocean water color (blues, greens,) converse, ballet flat, sneaker look)
 
LOWER SCHOOL COSTUME INFORMATION:
 
Please be sure that all items below (except for shoes, which they will bring and return each day) are brought in with the student name on the items and their name on a grocery bag in which all the items are submitted.
 
M-2 Girls
·         All M-2 Girls need to wear colorful shoes- glittered, pink, blue, purple, green, light up shoes are great!
 
M-2 Boys
·         All M-2 Boys need to wear colorful shoes/sneakers,  blues are great for the sea.
 
3 Girls
·         All girls should bring in a pair of black pants- sweats, leggings (not skin tight please), dance pants that can be decorated. Please make sure the length is to the ankle.  Please bring in no later than Sunday March 10 (with name /label in them).
·         The pants will be worn with a shirt that hits at the waist. We are providing the shirt.
·         All girls should wear black, purple, green, blue or silver shoes, glittered. Light up shoes are AWESOME!
 
3 Boys
·         All 3 boys need to bring in a pair of black pants with their name on it. The pants will be decorated and returned at the end of the show.
·         All 3 Boys need to wear black shoes or dark shoes.
 
4 Boys and Girls
·         Please bring in a pair of white tube socks
·         Please bring in a Plain Long White Sleeve T-Shirt with name in it no later than Sunday, March 10. This will be decorated.
·         Please wear orange, yellow, or gray shoes or sneakers- converse  type sneakers are awesome! They have cheap knock off’s at Target, Walmart, Zappos (online).
 
5th  Girls
·         All need a pair of white knee socks.
·         All need a pair of black jazz shoes.
